AVS Territory-wide Flag Day 2025

Online Flag Selling Fundraising Campaign (21 April to 15 July)

Approved by the Social Welfare Department, the Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) will hold a Territory-wide Flag Day on 12 July 2025 (Saturday), aiming to raise funds for promoting and developing sustainable volunteerism so as to serve the community.

The "Online Flag Selling Fundraising Campaign" has now been launched! We earnestly invite you, including, but not limited to, individuals, organisations, schools, corporations, and chambers, to form volunteer teams and/or make donations in support of AVS. Let the volunteers spare love and warmth for the underprivileged, and inject more positive energy into the community to build a caring and inclusive society.

To commemorate the 55th Anniversary of AVS, a limited-edition Gold Flag was specially designed and souvenirs to thank volunteers supporting our online fundraising campaign. Top fundraisers and teams with the most participants will be recognised on our "Top Fundraiser Award (Online) "and "Most Powerful Team Award (Online)" leaderboards!

About "Top Fundraiser Award (Online)" and "Most Powerful Team Award (Online)"

Individuals / organisations who successfully register as Online Flag Selling Volunteers will be considered as participants in the competition for the "Top Fundraiser Award (Online)" and/or the "Most Powerful Team Award (Online)".
Fundraising results will be calculated based on a single E-Flag Bag.
The figures of donations and volunteers will be counted under the same individual or organisation.
The system automatically tracks and updates all volunteer/team fundraising totals on the online leaderboard. No ranking notifications will be sent.

Become Online Flag Selling Volunteers

AVS invites you to join as an "Online Flag Selling Volunteer" to help support vulnerable groups in our community! Upon successful registration, you’ll receive a personalised E-Flag Bag. To collect donations, please share the fundraising campaign with friends and family via WhatsApp, Facebook, or other social platforms.

For volunteers who successfully collect donations from 10 different friends or family members, 4 hours of volunteer service will be counted, and they will receive an electronic certificate of appreciation.
For volunteers who successfully collect donations from 15 different friends or family members, 6 hours of volunteer service will be counted, and they will receive an electronic certificate of appreciation.
For volunteers who successfully collect donations from 20 different friends or family members, 8 hours of volunteer service will be counted, and they will receive an electronic certificate of appreciation.
